The apartments are fully equipped, clean, cozy and the owner is around daily to make sure everything is ok. "They welcome your pets (they even bring their three-legged dog sometimes) and do everything they can to make your stay enjoyable. You have only to cross the street to reach the ocean and are within a couple blocks of well known Johns Pass. Behind the apartments are narrow side streets and every block has a dock or a public access to the canal where it is nice to be able to walk your dog. And I am happy to say that the my two dogs have not found any sand burrs in this area. "Fort Desoto Park is only a short drive away where they have a top notch doggie Paws Park with a dog friendly beach also. This is our second visit to Pieces of Eight and this year we are staying a full three months. It is a place I hope to come back to year after year.
