This is a Loews Hotel and they are just about the most pet-friendly hotel around. Pets receive very special treatment here, including goody bags, pet room service in a one-of-a-kind pet bowl, pet walking and sitting services.

There are no nightly pet fees or deposits. Customers with pets need to advise the reservation agent so the proper accomodations can be made. Customers with pets will need to sign a liability waiver at check-in and need to bring along their pet's health certificate.

Note of 08-04-06: Under the category of, "My, how things change within a year," we've been told by one of our readers he was recently denied a room at this facility because he has two small dogs. Seems they now allow only one pet per room.

Note of 08-06-05: One of our kind readers recently visited this facility with her two dogs and reported the staff was very accommodating and the room was set up with doggie bowls, placemats, and doggie yummies. The resort offers massages for both humans and canines and she found the dog walking service helpful when her group spent an entire day at Busch Gardens. She said there were plenty of places for her to walk the dogs and they had free plastic doggie doo bags outside near the walking area. She also noted that Fort Desoto Paw Playground is not far away if visitors want to let their dog(s) off leash for a good romp.

3. Bayview Plaza Waterfront Resort
