"Thanks to the recommendation on the website, we spent two nights at the Ocean Blue II motel in St. Augustine and had a wonderful time! The staff was very nice, the rooms were comfortable and clean, and the beach was very clean (no trash on the sand, and regularly-spaced garbage cans available). We were also delighted to find out that the Fountain of Youth Archaeological Park (http://www.fountainofyouthflorida.com) is pet-friendly! Reader Notes: *** One of our readers had the following comments about one of the facilities in our data base for St. Augustine, the Ramada Inn on San Marco Avenue. She had visited the facility with her large german shepard and said no one asked the breed or size of her dog when reservations were made and there was a pet fee of only $10 per night. She said their room was on the third floor, clean, with nice furnishings. Her overall opinion of the place: "I would recommend this Ramada location to any pet lover."
