Hello, fellow dog lovers! You've found "The Dog Writer." You may also know me as Patricia Collier, owner and Web Mistress of FloridaPets.net, a fun Web site which offers pet-friendly information and resources for Florida residents and visitors. I also publish an eZine for users of FloridaPets.net called the "NewsPetter."

I've decided to combine my 20 years writing/editing experience with my love and knowledge about dogs and form "The Dog Writer" section of FloridaPets.net. It will be of a more serious nature: information about the health and well being of dogs. I have developed several professional sources and am working on acquiring additional ones which will help keep all of us updated on the very newest protocols for prevention, maintenance and treatment of diseases and injuries specific to the canine species.
