Meet Joey and Sydnie Isabelle, companions to Mari and Dennis Hiltz of Melbourne, Florida.
Below, Mari tells about their talents, personalities and likes and dislikes.
Both our babies are Bichon Frise. Joey, our male, is the oldest at 18-months-old and Sydnie Isabelle, our girl, is six-months-old. Joey has such a wonderful heart and is so loving to everyone he meets. He has received his "canine good citizenship" certificate through advanced training and does therapy work in the rehab facility by our home.
Everyone Joey meets loves him and vice versa. He is such a special little dog and sharing his love with others makes me so happy. We are also looking forward to starting agility training this year with Joey. He loves to run and jump.
Since we brought Sydnie home, Joey has been the best big brother to her. He shares all his toys and bones and even his dinner with her. They really love each other. We are so happy that Joey loves his "baby puppy." He has never shown any jealousy, but we are very careful to include him on everything we do with Sydnie.
Joey accompanies Sydnie to socialization classes. They are both very spoiled. Joey likes to be hand fed his dinner because he doesn't like to get food on his face. They both must have pillows to lie on while chewing their bones. They like people, walks and stroller rides, going new places, balls, school, naps and chasing lizards. Dogs truly are children in fur coats! We love them so much. Thanks for such a great newsletter.
"And, now, if you'll excuse us, it's time for our afternoon nap."
