Eddie and Maggie

"Here we are, on our bunk bed for two!"

Introduction: Hi, We're Eddie and Maggie. I'm Eddie, the two-year-old Jack Russell Terrier...I'm the one on top! That's my sister, Maggie, I am lying on. She's a 13-year-old Schnauzer. I'm really not squishing her, I promise!

We live with our human mom, Joann Palmer, down here in sunny Florida. We have been inseparable ever since we met, sleep side by side and watch over each other. Mom says I help keep Maggie young because
we play a lot and chase each other for fun.

I think we're both very important around here! Last summer my humans lost Bouvier Bear, who had been Maggie's companion for many, many years. At first they were not going to get another dog, but they broke down when we saw my photo in the paper at the humane society. I know I'll never replace Bear, but I do make my humans laugh a lot.

Quote from our mom:

"We recently got rid of our love seat in the front room. Both Eddie and Maggie used to sleep spread out on it, so I sort of wondered what they would do with the love seat gone. The space was so bare, I moved a chair over in the spot temporarily. Later I realized the dogs did not miss the loveseat at all....and the photo shows how they dealt with the missing love seat. Eddie has been great for Maggie and I have to admit I have never had a little dog like him before."
