Moxie Roo is companion to Chuck, Dana, Brittaney and Kaitlyn Kessler, and they all live in Montverde, Florida. She is an eight-month-old Aussie and was the runt of a litter of seven. Dana tells her story below.
We went through a few names before Moxi Roo came about. Our youngest daughter wanted to call her, "Betty."
However, my husband did not want to end up standing out in the yard, calling "Betty, come on Betty!"
Moxi was suggested by a neighbor and it fits because she truly has some spunky attitude, some "moxie!" And the "Roo" part comes from the Kangaroo/Aussie connection. Roo, as we sometimes call her for short, has a cat sister named, "Bobbi" and a guinea pig brother named, "Al" and her two teenage human sisters.
She loves Scoobie Snacks (what self-respecting dog doesn't?) and socks (dirty or clean, of course!)
