Franky is a six-and-one-half-year-old Buff Cocker Spaniel who lives in North Miami Beach with his human companions, Jack Nunez & Erika Gatti.
Franky's humans said he loves to eat, eat, and eat and will do practically anything for food.
He knows about seven different tricks, but will only demonstrate them for treats.
It appears Franky is quite awake now, sitting at the table, waiting on some party f-o-o-d.
"He's a kid at heart, always playing with his many toys and enjoying company," Erika said. "With all the playing and eating he also enjoys a nice nap. His favorite place to nap is our bed and of course, he loves his space, leaving my husband and I scrunched up on one end of the bed."
According to Erika, Franky loves going for car rides and will sit right in the middle between them.
"We take him everywhere," Erika said, "When we go out of town for a weekend vacation,
he comes along. Why not? Dogs deserve vacations too."
Vacations are for eating, napping and then, it's time for water aerobics, of course!
Franky's dislikes are very few. He knows his humans' work routine, meaning Monday through Friday they go to work and he's left home alone, but he doesn't cry or howl. But weekends are different. He knows those are his days and if they leave him home, he will cry and howl.
Not that Franky would ever...howl...except when the camera catches him in the act.
"Another thing he dislikes is when he tries to climb up on the bed and sometimes struggles," Erika said."If he sees one of us laughing, oh boy! The look on his face and the
little growl he makes, you know he's embarrassed and upset."
Franky was only two-months-old when Erika brought him home. She was to pick up Jack from work that day and he had no idea she was coming with little Franky.
Being cute and adorable has all the advantages!"
"When my husband opened the door, there Franky was, sitting on the passenger seat with the cutest little face," Erika said, "At the beginning he said, 'No way! We can't keep him', but once he picked him up, sat him on his lap, and laid eyes on him, it was over! Franky won him over so quickly, my husband couldn't say no. I knew then he was always going to be a big part of our lives."
