Hello, I'm Chica, a 5-year-old pit bull. I live in Tampa with my human companions, Tara Knapp and
Juan Garcia. Some people call me La Chica Lindo (Spanish for pretty girl!)

Chica is one of those breeds that often gets bad press, but to Tara and Juan, she is the best friend they could have.

"She is the sweetest one of all our dogs," Tara said. Chica lives with her step brother and sister,
which are actually two Chihuahuas named Zena and Sabre.

"It is funny when I am walking all three dogs," Tara said, "The humans are always afraid of Chica when they should be afraid of the two little Chihuahuas, because they are not always so nice."

Tara said Chica is kind to all things and she brings smiles to everyone touched by her presence.
