RuskinLocated at the corner of 21st Avenue and 3rd Street SW in Ruskin, off College Avenue (I-674) and near the intersection of Shell Point. This three-acre park is currently open Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 7:30 a.m. to sundown; closed the rest of the week. It offers handicapped parking, separate fenced areas for small and large dogs. There is a small dog park right next to the original park. The link above goes to a visual tour of this dog park. Reader Notes: "This is a fabulous park and very, very clean. It has lots of seating in the shade for humans and poop bags and water for the dogs. The water is from a well and it's kind of smelly, but my dog has no issue with drinking it and has never gotten sick. There is also a small aerated pond for the dogs (all sizes) to swim in as well."
