New Port Richey

1. Meadows Park and Dog Park

Located at Larch Lane & Meadowbrook. This is a small park in a residential area of the city. It opened December, 2007. Offers two fenced areas, one for large dogs and another for small dogs.

2. Anclote Gulf Park Dog Park

Located at 2305 Baillies Bluff Road in Holiday, on the west side of the county. This is another off-leash park in Pasco County. It is operated by the Pasco County Parks & Recreation Department and if anyone has questions, they can call (727) 834-3278 or (813) 929-1260.

4. Jay B. Starkey Wilderness Park.

Dogs must be leashed. Located at 10500 Wilderness Park Road in New Port Richey. Has over 1,000 acres. Open dawn to dusk. This park allows leashed dogs. Offers wilderness sand trails and a paved 13-mile path for bikes, walkers, dogs, runners, etc. Some areas provide doo doo bags. Dogs are not permitted in camping areas. The park is located off Little Road and can be accessed by taking Decubellis to Starkey Blvd. and following brown signs to the park.

5. Crews Lake Wilderness Park

Dogs must be leashed. Located at 16739 Crews Lake Drive in Shady Hills. Has 113 acres. Open dawn to dusk.

6. Withlacoochee River Park

Dogs must be leashed. Located at 12449 Withlacoochee Blvd. in Dade City. Has 408 acres. Open dawn to dusk.
