Pass-A-Grille1. Howl at the Moon Cruise
At the southern tip of Pass-A-Grille, there are several barrier islands. One is Shell Key, a preserve that is home to many shore birds and turtles. There is a catamaran that shuttles humans to Shell Key and back to the mainland, but pets are not allowed on the beaches here.
However, there is a special "Howl at the Moon" cruise that is pet friendly and lots of fun, according to some of our readers. There's a limit of one pet per person. Make a reservation by visiting Shell Key Shuttle.
