Palm Harbor

John Chestnut Sr. Park

Located at 2200 East Lake Road, adjacent to Lake Tarpon. This park offers 255 acres and is used by people from Palm Harbor and Tarpon Springs (north Pinellas county) as well as residents of Pasco and Hillsborough counties.

Pets must be on a 6-foot leash in all areas except for the Paw Playground which offers small and large dog areas, lots of shade, a cool off area with water and poop bags. The park offers nature trails, picnic shelters, boat ramp, fishing pier, grills, various sporting facilities, water fountains, and restrooms. Directions: take US 19 to Tarpon Ave head east to East Lake Road, then left, heading south until you see the park on the right.
