Mobbly Bayou Wilderness Preserve
Located at 423 Lafayette Blvd., in northern Pinellas County. This 300-plus-acre preserve has a fenced dog park and offers picnic shelter, canoe launch, parking, restrooms.
Note of 01-07-07:
A reader reports the following after visiting this park:
"The dog park has separate fenced areas for large dogs and small dogs. It has water, but the water is just outside of the fenced area, not inside, so you have to leash your dog and exit the fenced area for your pup to quench his thirst. There are benches and poop bags in both sides and very little shade in either side. Both sides are quite small."
NOTE: We can't visit every area on a regular basis, so if you have information about any dog parks or beaches, or any other animal recreation facilities, in any of the cities within the Oldsmar area, please contact FloridaPets.net.
