Islamorada 1. Islamorada Dog Park Located at about Mile Marker 86. Open dawn to dusk. This is a one-acre dog park in Founders Park. It's a very nice fenced area with poop bags, water bowls, small kiddie pool, benches, chairs, and picnic tables, even some toys and tennis balls scattered around most of the time. There is a $4 charge to enter the park when an attendant is on duty (no set time) or you can park along the edge of the park and walk in for no charge. More info can be found at the Visitor Center in Islamorada 2. Founders Park Located at 87000 Overseas Highway. This is a 40-acre park. Open daylight hours. Fenced, benches, tables, handicap access, poopbags, trees, parking, restrooms, water, trash cans. Reader Notes: "This is a really nice dog park. It was formerly Plantation Yacht Harbor before incorporation.
