Deltona

1. Keysville Dog Park

Located at 2600 Keysville Avenue in Deltona. Open sunrise to sunset. This dog park opened in May, 2006. It offers one area for small dogs and one for large dogs, a place to rinse off dogs, bags for cleanups and a canine water fountain. There are restrooms located outside the fenced in area. Directions: from I-4, take exit 114. Go right on Howland Blvd., go about a mile and take a right on Providence, a left on Auburndale Street, then left onto Keysville.

Reader Notes:

"It is AWESOME!!! Just perfect in every way. We have been to others but not much fun for my Shih Tzu as no other doggies around. Even has lots of 'fake' fire hydrants to run and pee on."

"The Deltona doggy park is great. It’s also a place where the whole family can play together. Besides the 2 huge dog play grounds, there is a kiddie area with slides, jungle gym and swings, and a covered pavilion. There is a basketball court that older kids and adults enjoy. What a blessing to have this is our neighborhood so our four legged kids can socialize, and their 2 legged families can too."

2.Volusia County parks

Pets are welcome at county parks (in addition to the park listed above) as long as they are kept leashed and under control. Guardians must clean up after their pet and aggressive animals should be left at home.

NOTE: We can't visit every area on a regular basis, so if you have information about any dog parks or beaches, or any other animal recreation facilities, in the Deltona area, please contact FloridaPets.net.
